How AI-Draft works

AI-Draft focuses on one thing: making your writing workflow in Word dramatically faster, without taking control away from you.

Step 1 Install the add-in in Word Use the Office Add-ins dialog to install AI-Draft, then open it in the right-hand sidebar. The assistant lives where you write.
Step 2 Connect your API keys Paste your own API keys (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.). Keys are stored locally in Word’s settings and used only to call those providers on your behalf.
Step 3 Draft, rewrite, refine Select text or type a prompt, choose an action (Draft, Rewrite, Summarize, Translate, Format), review the result, then insert directly into your document.

Do I need a subscription to use AI-Draft?
